Admit Need for Control
Ask a friend, colleague, or family member who you think would be open to supporting you in a fun growth exercise if they’d be willing to participate as your partner. If they say yes, proceed by following the instructions below.
Share with your partner the name of one person in your life that you feel the need to control and why.
When you’re done, allow your partner to lead you around the room for one minute with your eyes closed.
After your room tour, ask your partner what their experience was like leading you around the room and being trusted for your safety and well-being.
