A component of maturity, and certainly of excellence, is the ability to connect to the natural quality of diligence possessed by children. Their focused and engaged play eventually becomes a love for work. Our eventual ability to delay immediate gratification as adults comes from having learned to enjoy the process of making efforts when we’re young.
